How long are the sessions and how much do they cost?
Standard individual sessions last 50 minutes.I aim to make counselling accessible and affordable for everyone. Session fees start from £25 per session, and I offer a free initial assessment for all new clients.Fees are based on individual circumstances and annual income, and will be discussed and agreed together during the assessment to ensure they feel manageable and fair.If cost has been a barrier to accessing support, you are very welcome to mention this when you get in touch.
What is your cancellation policy?
I require 48 hours' notice for cancellations. Sessions cancelled with less than 48 hours' notice, or missed without notice, will be charged at the full session rate to cover the room and time committed to you.
Do you offer online therapy?
Yes, I provide secure online counselling across the UK via video platform. This is an effective and flexible alternative for those unable to attend in person in Carshalton or Sutton.
Therapy Process
Is counselling confidential?
Absolutely. Confidentiality is a cornerstone of my practice. There are specific legal and ethical exceptions (such as if there is a serious risk of harm) which we will discuss in detail during our initial consultation.
How do I know if therapy is right for me?
Counselling can benefit anyone feeling stuck, anxious, or overwhelmed. Our first meeting serves as an initial consultation where we can explore what brings you to therapy and decide if we are a good fit to work together.
What happens in the initial consultation?
This is a chance for us to meet without further obligation. I'll listen to your concerns, explain my approach, and answer any questions you have. We will discuss your goals and decide on the best way forward for you.
Fees & Practicalities
Confidentiality
The content of our sessions is strictly confidential. As a member of the BACP, I adhere to their Ethical Framework, which ensures your privacy is protected. Any exceptions to this (such as risk of serious harm) will be discussed fully during our initial session.
Online Therapy Setup
Online sessions are conducted via a secure, encrypted video platform. You will simply need a private space where you won't be interrupted and a stable internet connection. It offers a convenient and flexible way to access support from the comfort of your own home.
Fees & Cancellations
Session fees are payable via bank transfer prior to our meeting. I operate a 48-hour cancellation policy; sessions cancelled with less notice will be charged at the full rate. A limited number of low-cost spaces are reserved for those on a lower income—please enquire about availability.
Availability & Session
I offer online, face-to-face and telephone counselling sessions. Sessions are available Monday to Friday, 9am – 6pm, with some evening availability where needed.
